Blazing Tropical.

BLAZING TROPICAL.

Ohh I want this blazer. Just look how useful it would be. If I had any of the clothes below. Which I don't. Balls. I'm not entirely sure why I torment myself like this.

Snakey Layers.

SNAKEY LAYERS.

I told myself I wouldn't spend anything on clothes this month.

Then in went into the Topshop sale.

BUT I was relatively well behaved and only bought two things, a t-shirt (justified because who doesn't need t-shirts?) and this skirt, which I've had my beady eye on for a while. I also wanted the maxi coat that's the same design, and the top, and the dress, but due to my new found responsibility the skirt will have to do.

I really do apologise for the terrible quality of my pictures. I'll hopefully have a new phone soon with a wonderful camera so that should improve things a bit. Probably won't, but I can dream.

I whacked on a few layers because I felt like making an effort. But then I got BOILING in the middle of Oxford Street and had to strip. I can't cope with this temperamental weather. I don't know where I stand.

Hey Paul.

HEY PAUL.

I was making a new Polyvore wishlist and noticed that all the bags I was adding into my outfits were by Paul's Boutique. Over the past few seasons Paul's Boutique has had a huge makeover, and it's now my secret go-to for bags because no-one expects it. They still have their core, more "out there" bags, but gone are the giant slogans and cheap looking decorations. They're introducing more and more gorgeous, elegant designs in perfect colours. The Violet bag (below, in blue) is pretty high on my to-buy list, because I've got it in bright pink and I love it. The Fleur (the white clutch) is a blogger favourite.

What can I say, I <3 PB. And if Burberry deserved a second chance, doesn't everyone?

Have a look at their new bags here.

Work Pyjamas.

WORK PYJAMAS.

This is a bit of a schizophrenic outfit (not ashamed to admit I had to Google how to spell that.)

On the top half I'm a professional business woman (albeit one that doesn't have access to an iron) and on the bottom half I'm an unemployed student, who's rolled straight out of bed to a lecture.

But I'm comfy and snuggly as hell, and that is pretty much my only aim for the day. What can I say, it's Monday.

It's Back.

IT'S BACK.

I don't know about you but I can't wait for 30th April..AKA the day the new Kate Moss x Topshop collection is out. I don't know whether it's a blessing or a curse that it happens to be on payday? I can't think it was an accident.

I doubt I'll be able to afford any of it, but at least my Polyvore boards will be more glamorous for a while.

She's also taken over as acting Fashion Editor at Vogue for May, and I have a feeling that will definitely become a collectors issue so even though it costs more than my dinner most nights, I'm buying it.

Mermaid Dreams.

MERMAID DREAMS.

Why are so many of my posts about mermaids? I can't really explain my dream of being a mermaid. I partly blame the Little Mermaid; as the only redheaded Disney princess she probably gave me hope that I'd find a prince, even while I grew more ginger by the day. Then I saw Daryl Hannah in Splash and that was that.

I don't understand it, since I hate having a wet face and the feeling of wet hair on my neck makes me well twitchy and cross. As you can imagine, I'm a dream to go on holiday with.

Anyway, last time I reverted to being five and plaited my hair before I went to bed, a friend told me the next day that I had mermaid hair. I nearly kissed her. So now I do it regularly and I wake up feeling a bit closer to the mermaid dream. So today I finished the feeling off with a fishtail little skirt. I'm only one step away from throwing myself in the bath fully clothed to see if I grow a tail.

I've also found the perfect lilac jumper, but we'll go into my confused feelings for lilac another day.
